I contacted Dan, and he assured me we would figure out what was really going on. He walked me through a detailed list of questions about what was and wasn’t working on my dash and had me double-check fuses. He then shipped another APIM to try, along with three additional components that could have been the underlying cause—all at no charge to me.
I installed one component at a time, and it turned out the second one I tried was the solution. My LCD screen had failed, which was killing the entire CAN system. I’m sending the other components back today.
Dan really knows his stuff and helped me solve a problem that had been driving me nuts for a year.
